How to make a voki
Vokis are fun and exciting ways to make a short description of yourself. First, you go to http//www.voki.com, and create a login. Then, you press the “create your voki” button, and a random voki will pop up. Choose what kind of figure you want to represent yourself like a dog, human, or fish. You can even choose different colors, jewelry, hair, sizes, etc. Also, you can change your back ground, and the bar around your voki. After that, you will type the message or information you want to convey. You can also change the language and accent. Then when you are finely done you can save your voki! Have fun!

Making a color wheel is a lot of fun because it is a creative way to show the colors of the world. So how do you make a color wheel on your computer? Well first you search images with the colors of a color wheel like red, red-orange, orange, yellow-orange, yellow, yellow-green, green, blue-green, blue, blue violet, and violet. After you do that you crop the images you found into a triangular shape. Then you fit the triangles together to form a circle make shore that your images go of the page so that there is no white on the page. This is a fun and exciting way to teach someone about the colors of the rain bow or learn about the colors. Hope you have fun making a color wheel. Also you don’t have to make a color wheel you could make anther combinations with the crop and crop to shape options.
An artist named Pieter Cornelis only uses primary colors. Pieter Cornelis "Piet" Mondrian, after 1906 Mondrian, was a Dutch painter. He was a contributor to the De Stijl art movement and group, which was founded by Theo van Doesburg. He evolved a non-representational form which he termed neoplasticism. He was born March 7, 1872 and he died in 1944.
One upon a time there was a girl named Sarah and she was so accident-prone. Everyone always stared and asked if she was ok. You think that she would find this nice and kind. However this makes her feel more awkward and weird. She thinks this because if she falls and no one say anything there is no attention. Sarah hates attention for she is very shy.
Sarah enjoys taking pictures and drawling she wants to be a photographer when she grows up but she doesn’t want to tell anyone because she thinks they will make fun of her. She does have some friends their names are Julian, Bob, Jeff, and sally. She fell on the stairs one day and instead of asking if she was ok Jadyn helped her up and invited her to sit next to her at lunch where she met another nice girl named Katie. They became great friends and Sarah was never shy again.

I made this piece of art work by choosing about 20 word that I thought described me and then having someone take a picture of just my head on a white back ground. Then I went to this website called taxedo where I inserted my picture. After that I choose how dark or light I wanted my picture and I inserted the words and it took the words and made them appear on my face several time sometimes big and sometimes small. The last step I did was choosing what color I wanted my words to be.
The some of the words I chose where unique, funny, athletic, and insightful. The reason I chose unique was because every one person is not like another and I like to think I am very different. I chose funny because I like to tell jokes and mess around it makes life more fun than if I were to be serious all the time. Another word I chose was athletic and I chose this word because I like to run, swim, tumble, and cheer I think my enjoyment of these things make me athletic because if I like them I do them often. I also chose insightful the reason I chose this word was because if I see someone who is in a bad position of life I feel really bad for them and want to help even if they are someone I have never met before.
I think this peace is more of a symbol as to who I am and how I feel and look. I tried to do a good job of portraying all my trails so I could have a lot of symbolism. You can’t really tell what I look like in this picture but I think it gives you an idea of my image. I hope you enjoy this peace because I sure enjoyed making it.
In my opinion the reason people create graffiti is they want to express themselves. Creating graffiti is not exactly a good way to express yourself. If you create graffiti you are vandalizing the word around you making it less beautiful for everyone else maybe it makes you feel you are hurting them because you are hurting. People express themselves in this way often when they don’t feel loved or they are going through hard times. This is not the only reason some one creates graffiti some time it is because they are in a gang or they want to be rebellious against their parents. Either way it is never good to vandalize in any way especially graffiti.
Creating a graffiti wall on your computer on the other hand is super fun. I created this graffiti wall by using a website that a lows me to type in words choose what style I want my letters to be in. It also lets me choose the color of my letters. Creating a digital graffiti wall is a better way of expressing yourself because it is not effecting anyone else in a bad way like vandalizing would be.
I choose word that I thought that described me I tried to be a little boastful because a lot of people that create real graffiti are. Some of the word I choose where cute, smart, and tall. I chose the word cut because most people that create real graffiti use words that make them seam tuff so I decided to do the opposite thing to do. The reason I chose smart was most people that express themselves with real graffiti are not very smart. If they were they would find another way to expresses themselves with ought destroying things around them like creating a digital graffiti wall. So I am saying I am smarter than them because I created a digital wall instead. I chose tall because a lot of graffiti artist use visually descriptive word as well. I decided to choose something that would make people envision my figure.

Giuseppe Arcimboldo is an Italian painter best known for creating imaginative portrait heads made entirely of such objects as fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish, and books. Giuseppe Arcimboldo painted his royal patron, the Holy Roman Emperor Rudolf II, as a heap of fruits and vegetables. With pea pod eyelids and a gourd for a forehead, he looks less like a king than a crudité platter. Lucky for Arcimboldo, Rudolf had a sense of humor. And he had probably grown accustomed to the artist’s visual wit. Arcimboldo served the Hapsburg family for more than 25 years, creating oddball “composite heads” made of sea creatures, flowers, dinner roasts and other materials. I love the way he uses the objects to make people.
I used fruit for objects to assemble my artwork so it would look bright and colorful. Also I like how it almost looks 3d because of the shapes of the fruit. I think it just adds an extra element to the image. With the bright colors and the intricate shapes of the fruit. I tried to make my combinations of Fruit objects represent a little girl that is sticking out her tongue and wearing her hair in pig tails. I enjoyed making this project.
Rutherford Hayes was born on October 4, 1822 in Delaware, Ohio. When the Civil War broke out, Hayes was already nearly forty-years old and the father of three with a fourth on the way. Nevertheless, he was one of the first three-year volunteers, stating that he would rather die in the conflict than live having done nothing for the Union. Using his political connections, Hayes was appointed a major in the 23rd Ohio Volunteers. An officer with no military experience, he learned quickly, worked hard, and with his "intense and ferocious" demeanor on the battlefield gained the respect of the enlisted men and his superiors.
At the Battle of Opaque Creek, for example, Hayes led the charge through a morass that turned the tide of battle. Wounded five times in the war, Hayes kept leading his men into battle, and by the end of the conflict he was a brigadier general, and later bereted major general for "gallant and distinguished services. “While campaigning in the Shenandoah Valley in 1864 he was nominated in Cincinnati for the U.S. House of Representatives. Hayes refused to return to take to the stump, stating that "an officer fit for duty who at this crisis would abandon his post to electioneer for a seat in Congress ought to be scalped." That statement was worth all the speeches he could have made. Hayes was elected and the war was over before the first session of his Congress met on in December 1865.
Rushford did so many things in his presidency which lasted from March 4, 1877 to March 4, 1881. Hayes sought to implement his inaugural address. He had supported radical Reconstruction legislation which aimed to secure the rights of black citizens, but by 1877, Hayes believed that military occupation had bred hatred among southerners and had prevented the nation from healing itself in the aftermath of war. Actually, Reconstruction was virtually over when Hayes took office in March 1877, with federal troops protecting Republican governments only in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Columbia, South Carolina.
It ended completely when, within two months of his inauguration, Hayes ordered those federal troops to their barracks, but only after Louisiana and South Carolina authorities pledged to respect the civil and voting rights of blacks. These promises were broken and the white supremacist Democratic Party asserted total dominance of the South. By the 1890s, the Democratic hold on the South resulted in a complete denial of voting rights for blacks until the 1960s.

There are many problems in our government and even more in our society. One major problem is woman rights. But people hide this problem and make it seem less a problem than it already is.
Women supposedly have equal rights. So, why are they getting paid less than men? If they are going to say that women are equal to men then there should be a requirement that men and woman get paid the same amount for performing the same task.
Women are getting paid seventy-five cents to every man’s dollar. The United States of America should be working to bring the amounts more equal. They could do this by having annual cheeks on businesses and seeing how much a woman’s salary is and compare it to a man’s salary.
Some people argue that women are not able to do a specific job most of the time these jobs are jobs that require strength. But women can be just as strong as men. Sometimes women are stronger. Women still get paid less than men for preforming the same task though.
If America is never concerned with this problem it will never get any better. The longer people ignore this problem the worse it will get. By the time we address this problem it will be too late to fix it. So, people need to spread awareness before it is too late.

The Keep Calm and Carry on was a motivational poster produced by the British government in 1939. It was in preparation for the Second World War. The poster was made to raise the morale of the British. With a bold colored background, the posters were required to be similar in style and feature the symbolic crown of King George VI along with a simple yet effective font. This is so the message would be simple and clear.
Two point forty-five million copies were printed. But it was hardly ever displayed. Most of the copies are lost. Sadly no record remains of the unknown Civil Servant who originally came up with the simple and classy Britishness of the Keep Calm and Carry On message. However, it is wonderful to think that all these years later people still find it so appealing and reassuring in our modern times.
A copy was recovered in 2000 at Barter books, a bookshop in Alnwhick. After that it was believed that there were only two copies. Until they found a collection of twenty posters were found at Antiques Roadshow in 2012 by the daughter of an ex-Royal observer of corps member. Barter Books in Alnwick, Northumberland, was sorting through a box of used books bought at auction when he uncovered one of the original “Keep calm and Carry on” posters.
The couple that found the posters framed it and hung it up by the cash register. It attracted so much interest that Manley started to produce and sell copies. Other companies saw how popular it was. Then the design rapidly began to be used as the theme for a wide range of products. Mary Manley later commented, “I didn’t want it trivialized. But of course now it’s been trivialized beyond belief”.
As the popularity of the poster in various media has grown, numerous parodies, and imitations making it a notable meme. Messages range from the cute to political, typically with references to other aspects of popular culture ranging from the royal wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William to the Mario videogames. What once was rare and hardly seen is now common and popular.

Quizzy Questioner
1. Game summary.
Purpose of the game:
This game is used to enhance the player skills in math, history, and music. It also enhances your knowledge of the people you are playing with in a fun way. Several questions are asked in the various categories requiring you to have knowledge about the categories. This game takes approximately 15 to 25 minutes to play.
2. Set up

- 1 Game board
- 30 History cards

- 30 Music cards
- 30 Math cards
- 2 Dice
- 1 Spinner
- 4 Different colored bears (game pieces)
B. Where the materials should be places to play the game:
The game board should be placed on a flat surface. Place the cards in their designated section of the board. The spinner should be placed in the middle of the game board. The game pieces should be placed on the start square and should go clockwise while playing the game.
C. Selected player’s job
There should be one person that is designated to read all of the cards except on their turn another player will read there card to them. (The designated card reader will not read the player cards so refer to the player card section to find more information about that.)
3. Game play (how to play)
- If you get a question right nothing happens but if you do not get the question right you lose your next turn thus letting the players that answered their previous question correctly get ahead.
- If it is a player’s turn they will roll the dice and go forward that amount of squares. They will answer a question on the corresponding card. If it is a rainbow square the player will spin the spinner and answer the question on the corresponding card that the spinner lands on.
- A player wins by going around the entire game board before all of the other players. If you are near the start square and you role a number that would place your piece past the start square then simply go past it and answer the question on the corresponding square. If you get it right you win the game if you get it wrong you simply miss your next turn and when it is your turn again you do not roll the dice you just stay on that same square until you get a question right that corresponds with the color square you are on.
4. Cards
How to operate the cards - Once a card has been used place it at the bottom of the deck. If a player gets the wrong answer but is close to the correct answer it is counted as right (except on the math cards).
History cards – The designated card reader will ask the question. (They will not read the answer that is right after the question.) Then the player that is asked the question will answer and the designated card reader will tell them if they got it right if they do not get it right the designated card reader will read the correct answer.
Player cards – The designated card reader will not read these cards the player that landed on the player question square will. (The answer is not on the card because it varies for every player.) The person on the right of the player that reads the card will tell them who to ask the question to. (The person on their right can say themself.) The player that reads the question will answer it as well and the person they ask the question to will tell them if they have gotten it right or not. If they get it wrong the person that was asked the question will tell the correct answer.
Music card - The designated card reader will ask the question. (They will not read the answer that is right after the question.) Then the player that is asked the question will answer and the designated card reader will tell them if they got it right if they do not get it right the designated card reader will read the correct answer.
Math card - The designated card reader will ask the question. (They will not read the answer that is right after the equal sign.) Paige: Well why aren’t you doing your work.
Ashley: I already did it (Ashley says sheepishly)
Paige: Looks like we are both workaholics.

Paige: Whatever, I could probably wing it unlike some people.
Mrs. Johnson (the science teacher): Cut it out girls no talking during the test and you both sound very self-centered after all you are not concerned about the other people taking the test.
Ashley: you’re right I am sorry. (And that is when Ashley decided to no longer be self-centered)
