This is a Voki. A Voki is a free web 2.o website for making and creating talking characters.The way I made my Voki was not simple. First you go to Voki.com. Then, you click create and make it the way you want. You can make different people, backgrounds, and colors. Then you have to type your Voki. So you have to write about yourself. Sisters, Brothers, Family, Hobbies, just anything that is about you. Then, you listen to your Voki to see if it sounds good to you. Then, you publish and save your Voki. When you save your Voki, save it as something you will remember. Then, there you have it, your personal voki. In conclusion, Voki is a great site for making and creating talking characters.
This is a Color Wheel. A color wheel is a circled wheel with all but most of the colors of the rainbow. The use of a color wheel is to explain the main colors we use everyday. There are different objects that the colors can represent like the one's above. Each object is a specific color that is its color alone. You can create artwork using different combinations of colors. Like, Red mixes with Blue and makes Purple or Blue mixes with Yellow and makes Green.
Issac Newton created the color wheel and mixed all of the colors. He also created Primary and Complimentary, Secondary and Intermediate or tertiary colors. Primary colors consiste of Red, Yellow, and Blue. Complimentary colors consiste of colors that are opposite each other on the color wheel. Secondary consists of Green, Violet, and Orange. And finally, Intermediate or tertiary colors consist are made when primary and secondary colors mix that is next to it. You can thank Issac Newton for inventing the color wheel and our main colors.
One a normal Saturday morning, Tyler Newman went to go play basketball with his friends. When he got their, there were a lot of people at the basketball gymnasium. It was five on five... So towards the end of the game, I was guarding the dude with the ball, so he passed the ball to his teammate. The guy shot the ball but he missed and it hit my face. It hurt really bad. I went to the hospital to get stitches in my face. It hurt like crazy but that's what I get for standing by the net, under the basket...
The next day, I got stitches on my nose and came back next weekend to play basketball. We played with the same teams and rules, even though the rules have never changed. Then, the same thing happened. I got hit with a basketball. This time I got hit in the shoulders. So then, the people I was playing basketball with said that I should just quit. They had a good point, but I didn't want to quit basketball...
So then, I asked my parents what to do. They insisted that I just find another sport. But I didn't know any other sports that I was interested in. Other than football. Then I got an idea. I could try out for football. Or I could just stop getting injured and keep playing basketball. I didn't know what to do...
So then, I had an even better Idea, I could go to Target and get a special Pad or Pads or something to keep me from getting injured. So then I went to Target. got the special Protective gear. And came to the next game. Ans I actually didn't get injured at all It felt good to play basketball again. And my team won that game. It was exciting. Again, It felt good.
After that awesome game. We had another game the next weekend after the exciting win. I don't know why I can't stop saying exciting, I just am. Anyway, towards the end of the game with 30 seconds to go, one of my teammates got the ball. Then he passed it to his friend, one of my other teammates. He was in some trouble so he passed the ball to me. It felt good to be holding the ball and being in the game. So anyway, I shot the ball at the buzzer. Everybody loved me. All because I got the ball and got the game winner and the special gear to still be able to play the game.
This is how my artwork was created. First I went to tagxedo and clicked on create. Then, I clicked on shape and Uploaded my picture of me. You will also have to make your picture almost like gray scale but also change the texture of the picture. Load and wrote 20 words that are positive and describe you. The you click on submit and click save as. You must save the Tagxedo as a 20JMP. JMP stands for JPeg file. Then, you choose the theme that you want your picture colors to look like. Then, You decide if it looks good.
Some of the words I chose were somehow explaining me. Like Organized, I like to be neat and organized about everything I do. Creative, I like to imagine things differently and weirdly and use creativity. Sleepy to, I am always tired because I am very busy with School and my daily life. Prepared, I like to be prepared by always being one step ahead. I'm also Respectful to my Family, Peers, and Teachers, and any other people that I know. Finally, I am Awesome because I just am awesome.
This Tagxedo is used as an expressive portrait because it explains me. This portrait is like me because all of the words that describe me are true. I like to describe myself sometimes. It makes me feel good and like an expressive portrait. To me, this is a true representation of me. I'm not just a traditional photograph. I can be a bit stubborn at times but I have a lot of positive things to say about myself. I am Organized, Creative, Sleepy most of the time, Prepared, Respectful, Awesome, and called lots of other great things.
Graffiti is a writing or drawings scribbled, scratched, or sprayed illicitly on a wall or other surface in a public place. The reasons people create graffiti is for fun sometimes. Some do it for a living. Some do it to express themselves. Some also do it to be creative. Graffiti is an art that we can exploit. It is very interesting.
The way I created my digital graffiti wall was not easy. First you go to postergen.com/graffiti-creator. Then you type in the box your name and 6-7 words that describe you. You can play with the fonts and colors at the bottom. Then every time you type your name or word that describes you, you need to copy and save on a power point. Then you insert the images and crop the pictures. Go to color and set transparent color. Then click on the background and put the picture where you want it around your name. Your name should go in the middle and the words that describe you go around your name. Save it as a Jpeg. Finally, upload it to Yola.
The words I used above describe me. I am Athletic because I play basketball in Gym. I also like to play football (not on the team). I am Respectful because I am nice to people nice or mean. I am Sleepy because I love to sleep in on the weekends. I am Creative because I like to make things and do things differently sometimes. I am Careful because can carry heavy objects even if I am very skinny. I AM HUNGRY because I like to eat lots of food but I am a very picky eater. I am Organized because I like to be clean but not dirty or unorganized.
This image above is in inspiration of Arcimboldo. He was born in Italy and was one of the thousands of great painters. He was known for making compositions of fruits, vegetables, animals, landscapes, and implements arranged to make human images. He can take many objects and resemble one object. The thought process he used was that he was taking something that didn't have very much value and turning it into something more. His paintings may have looked weird, but they were very interesting.
I chose to create the items I did because I like to mix and match things. I liked to make my food face look older and more of a legacy. And I like to give the background more a realistic feel. I put the art of my face that way because It looks like someone that looks like a rabbi, or teacher. It also looks like an elf. And the glasses make it again look like an older person. Also it also looks realistic because it has a Krispe Kreme donuts store.
Before Andrew Jackson was president, he was in the military. He was the commander in the war of 1812. He also served as a major general in the War of 1812. Also commanded U.S forces in a five-month campaign against the Creek Indians, allies of the British. That victory ended off in an American Battle of Tohopeka (or Horseshoe Bend) in Alabama in the mid-1814. Andrew Jackson led the American forces to a major victory over the British Battle of New Orleans (January 1815). Jackson's popularity led to the fact that people said he should run for president. At first he had no interest in running for office. But by 1824, he got enough support to nominate for the U.S Senate.
Andrew Jackson became president by starting in the U.S Senate. In a five way race, Jackson won the popular vote!!! But for the time, no candidate received majority of electoral votes. Jackson's supporters raged against what they called, "corrupt bargain" between Clay, Adams, and Jackson. Andrew Jackson won to lead America for 4 years in office. Jackson was the nation's first frontier president. His election eventually marked a turning point in American politics as it shifted from East to West.
Andrew Jackson's personality was described as "Old Hickory". The major battle in the two political parties involved in the Bank of the United States. Which was the charter of which was due to expiration in 1832. Andrew Jackson and his supporters exposing the bank, seeing it as a privileged institution and is the enemy of the common people. In July, Jackson vetoed the recharter , changing that the bank constituted the "prostration of our Government to the advancement of the few at the expense of the many". Despite the controversial veto, Jackson won reelection easily over Clay, with more than 56% of the popular vote and five times more the electoral votes.
We should take time out of our schedule build up our school spirit because it makes school a better place. Activities including pep rally's, joining clubs, dressing up in school colors, athletic events/attendance, forms of chants or cheers, and spirit week. All of these activities are fun and show school spirits. In my opinion, my favorite school spirit activity is the dressing up in school spirit because it is very fun to see who dressed up in their school colors. In my old school, our school colors were Black and Gold. I dressed up in my old school's colors all the time. Our colors also matched one of our states college football team, the Iowa Hawkeyes. So dressing up for a school's colors is almost important to me.
I like school spirit because it allows fun. A pep rally is a meeting aimed at inspiring enthusiasm, especially one held for before a elementary, middle, high school, or college sporting event. I don't like them because they are very loud. joining clubs is another way to have school spirit. It shows involvement in a schools activities. athletic events or attendance is another. Going to a school's sporting event is fun. You can also see the band play, the band is one of the biggest ways to show school spirit. Also cheers and chants. You can have some sort of chant or slogan or saying to cheer on you school' sport there playing. Also cheerleaders can cheer on your school's sporting event. Finally, spirit week. Spirit week the week when your middle school or high school spends a whole week doing wacky and fun activities at your school. I also love spirit week as one of my favorites because it is very fun and you can be creative.
In conclusion, we should spend a little more time to lift up our school spirit. We are a very good school and organization. We deserve these types of special things because like I said, it is fun and creative. I may not like some of the activities that we do like pep rally's and getting to the games, even though I have so much homework that I can't make it to the football games, but it is fun and I like it. Go Grizzlies!!!
The way I created my zentangle was not easy. First you have to make a sheet of zentangle paper. To do this, you have to place a piece of paper on some chaving creme. Then you take all of the chaving creme off of the paper using a special tool to chave off the chaving creme. Then you let the paper dry. Afterwards, it looks beautiful.
A zentangle is an easy to learn method of creating beautiful images from repetitive patterns. So I practiced on a sheet of paper for practice. I looked at different zentangle designs and found the ones that I liked the best. Then I went to the final paper and put the designs together. The designs have to kindof go together and be next together. And it has to look good and be precise. I tried the best I can as you can see above, it didn't look the best, but I tried.
Afterwards when I was finished, It looked just about good. I took a picture of the zentangle and put it on my computer. I put the picture on a powerpoint and added some cool designs. Like the Illuminaties and the funny faces I put inabove. After that I saved the powerpoint as a JPEG and put it on this website.
The Very Hungry Monster

One day, Isaac, and his friend Riley went to go to the lake to take a swim. So they got all of the supplies which consists of sunscreen, swim suits, goggles, towels, and other fun stuff. They were taking a trip to swim at a lake which is big enough to swim in. They drove only a couple of miles to get their not a big deal. When they got there, there was a big forest surrounding the lake. Meanwhile, a monster lurks amongst these two.
Isaac and his friend Riley are getting ready to swim.” Are you ready to swim Isaac”, said Riley.” You know it”, said Isaac. They swam and swam and swam until it was about lunchtime.” Man, I’m hungry, how about you”, said Riley.” Same”, said Isaac. So they got the picnic basket full of their lunch ad started to eat. Then, a big, furry monster comes out of the forest and takes Isaac’s and Riley’s lunch and runs away.
“Nooo”!!! Yells Isaac as the monster runs away.” Hurry, let’s go get our lunch back”, said Isaac. So they went to go find the monster. It took them a while, a long while. They searched and searched. Until they finally found the furry.” Can we please have our lunch back”, asked Isaac. The monster looked like he had given up and had no more to do.” Okay, I will give you the food back”, said the monster. And the monster gave Isaac and Riley their lunch back.
Someone’s tummy had growled.” Sorry, I’m very hungry for lunch”, said Isaac. Then he turned to the hairy monster and told him something.” Monster, I know you wanted our food and you were hungry, but so were we, it was our lunch, If you wanted some food you could have asked us first and then we could have given you some of our lunch and shared, okay”, said Isaac. The monster looked at Isaac very sorry.” I’m sorry I took your food, can I eat lunch with you guys?” said the monster.” Yes you can”, said Riley. And the monster, Isaac, and Riley ate there lunch and then swam.
In conclusion to the story, you never take things without asking. If you don’t want them to have you things, then just tell them. People should ask for things instead of just taking them.
Texting while driving is something going on around the country that causes deaths every year. Texting while driving is something that can also hurt people. People shouldn't text while they drive. People shouldn't text while they drive because it can cause serious inguries and deaths.
If you text while you drive, you could get in a car wreck. More people worry about what is in the social media network life than just looking up and watching the road. Wrecks that can happen cause deaths. More than 3,000 people die because of crashes caused by texting while driving. More than 50% of teens admit to texting while driving. It happens too teens more than it does to adults. The elderly have this habit as well.
Texting while driving can give children bad influence. If your a parent, and you text while you drive, you are teaching your children to follow the wrong direction in the driving life. Most of the time, you can see others texting while driving around you if your on the road. But if your smart, you can turn away from that bad habbit. It's like smoking. We can't stop it at all and we can't stop ourselves from doing it!!!
In conclusion, texting while driving can cause serious injuries and even death. Parents should be mindful that children are watching everything you do and that texting while driving is one of those things. More than 3,000 teens die from this. 50% of teens admit to texting while driving. Also, 330,000 injuries a year are due to this. Texting while driving is something going on around the country that causes serious wrecks, deaths, and injuries.
The keep calm and carry on posters are used everyday by social media. There are aboout thousands of different kinds of posters. It's because of social media. I belive that the keep calm and carry on posters are popular in recent times because of the world wide web.
The keep calm and carry on posters came from the ministry of information during the period of June 6th to June 22nd in 1939. The first two posters were made during the second world war. The first poster goes like this,"Freedom is in Peril, Defend it with all your might". Thge next goes like this,"YOUR COURAGE, YOUR CHEERFULNESS, YOUR RESULOTION WILL BRING US VOCTORY. The next one goes like this,"FREEDOM IS IN PERIL, DEFEND IT WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT". Because of these first two posters, the keep calm and carry on posters still continue today with new kinds.
The keep calm and carry on posters can symbolize anything. Today, some posters can say,"Keep calm and be awesome". Or some like this,"Keep calm and may the force be with you". Some can symbolize war and the military. Some can symbolize things from our everyday society. And with social media, different kinds are made to symbolize different things.

Savior Instructions
1. HOW TO START: First, decide which side you want. There is one Hero and Villain on one side and another Hero and Villain on the other side. Then, everybody will choose who starts by playing Rock-Paper-Scissors. The one who wins it will roll one die (Dice) and move how many spaces the Die says to move. For pieces, you will have to bring something that fits one the board or anything valuable you have with you.
2. CONSEQUENSES: Some of the spaces you land on will have consequences or something good will happen out of it like landing on a space that says lose a turn or landing on a space that says lose-a-turn or hhow many spaces that the Die says you have to move after you have rolled it.
3. SALVATION ROUND: Then whan you get to the end, you will get to the Savior round. In the Savior round, the winner is determined by who will win in combat. There is a separate board for this special round. Everybody who gets to the Savior round will start on the different board. Rock-Paper-Scissors will determine the other side of their same side will win. If there are two people, then the first person to get to the other side of the two people who win will go to another round and whoever wins that second round will win the game.
4. WINNING: In Salvation round, the first person to get to the other side of the board of their same side wins.
Characters: Tyler Newman: 13 years old and from the Midwest of Iowa, he's athletic, creative, he likes to play basketball and likes to go to church.
Henry: Big, hairy monster that likes to steal people's things. He is very angry and disgruntled most of the time. From the caverns of Krubera.
On a nice, summer day at lunch time, Tyler was just on his daily walk in the deep woods in Georgia. Tyler is trying to find a spot to have a picnic with himself. But then, a big, hairy monster named Henry, unexpectedly comes across Tyler and says...
Henry: "I'M GOING TO STEAL YOUR PICNIC BASKET!!!"
Then, Henry steals Tyler's picnic basket full of good food, punches Tyler right in the face, and scatters off. After that, Tyler stands up, looking a little wounded, and says...
Tyler Newman: "I wonder where he went off to?"
Then, Tyler goes off to find the hairy beast...
As Tyler is walking, he finds a cave which stops him right in his tracks...
Tyler Newman: "Here is a cave, this must be where he went off to."
Then, Tyler walks inside and tries to find the hairy beast...
Tyler Newman: "It is very, very dark in here, where could he be?"
While Tyler is searching for Henry, he hears him deeper into the cave...
Tyler Newman: "Hmmmmm, I hope I don't get eaten".
As Tyler walks in, he sees the hairy beast about to eat the food. Then, the hairy beast turns around and sees Tyler at the entrance to his place. Then, Henry says...
Henry: "YOU AGAIN, HOW DID YOU FIND ME?"
Tyler Newman: "I found your cave".
Henry: "HOW DID YOU FIND MY CAVE?"
Tyler Newman: "Your cave was not that hard to find".
Then Henry tries to apologize, but Tyler interrupts Henry...
Tyler Newman: "There is no need for a sorry!!!"
Then, Tyler pulls out a knife and stabs the monster right in the kidney, then takes back his basket of food and walks off, leaving the monster, dead...
